Review PPWR
For marketplace sellers

Own your Polish registry number,
before a platform asks for it.

Selling packaged goods to buyers in Poland puts you in scope from the first parcel, whichever platform carries the order. We map the entity, the channels and the packaging, coordinate the register application and keep the number, the filings and the evidence in one place. Marketplace panels and acceptance decisions stay with the platform.

Timing depends on document completeness and independent registry and scheme review

Marketplace orders being mapped to a Polish register entry and its supporting evidence
Independent service

eprpoland.com is not Allegro, Amazon or the BDO register

We provide independent private coordination. We claim no appointment, affiliation or endorsement, and we are unconnected to BDO the international audit and advisory network, whose name the Polish register happens to share.

A platform request is the symptom, not the obligation

The deadline everyone repeats is not real

Allegro told sellers in writing on 6 August 2026 that it would not block accounts or sales after 12 August for a missing EPR or BDO number, and that it will verify a number per destination market once the national registers formally launch. The obligation exists anyway: it comes from Polish law, not from the platform.

One number is assumed to cover the wrong things

Poland issues one nine-digit registry number per entity, and electrical equipment or batteries are additional sections of that same entry. Adding a stream updates the entry; it does not create a second number, and packaging evidence does not prove the other sections.

The number stops at the marketplace field

Filling the panel satisfies the panel. Polish law separately requires the registry number on invoices and other documents drawn up for the registered activity, and that duty is enforced by the environmental inspectorate.

What's included

Included in the written scope.

  • Seller entity, account and Polish destination map
  • Marketplace, own-shop and business-buyer channels separated
  • Packaging, electrical equipment and battery stream inventory
  • Foreign-company register application prepared and coordinated
  • Registry-number placement plan for invoices and each marketplace panel
  • Annual fee, report and de minimis calendar within the contracted scope
How it works

Four controlled steps.

01

Map the facts

Record the entity, countries, channels, contracts and products relevant to marketplace sales.

02

Separate the streams

Packaging, electrical equipment and batteries are assessed independently, with assumptions marked for confirmation.

03

Confirm the written scope

Private fees, exclusions, external costs and client approvals are set out before any work begins.

04

Maintain authentic evidence

Official documents, filings, invoices and changes remain linked to the entity and stream that produced them.

Frequently asked

Is Allegro blocking accounts without an EPR number?

Not on its own published position. On 6 August 2026 Allegro told sellers it would not block accounts or sales after 12 August for a missing EPR or BDO number, because the EU register machinery is still being built, and that it will verify a number per destination market when the national registers launch. We do not sell a blocking date that the platform has denied.

What does Amazon ask for in Poland?

We do not publish a field name, fee or enforcement state without current dated evidence from the account. The live request in your Seller Central account and the legal obligation are reviewed as two separate things.

Does Amazon Pay on Behalf replace my registration?

Do not assume it does. Whether it covers Poland has to be checked in the account, and it would in any case not touch the register entry, the annual fee, the annual report or the duty to carry the number on your documents.

What happens if we ignore this?

Operating without a required register entry, and failing to put the number on documents, both carry an administrative fine of 1,000 zł to 1,000,000 zł imposed by the voivodeship environmental inspector. Past shipments also leave back obligations. We describe the exposure; we do not predict an outcome.
